City Council Recap
Woodstock City Council held a key meeting on September 19, where they discussed important local topics. Among the highlights were budget planning discussions and deliberations on what to do with the proceeds from the sale of the old Small Business Centre building. Additionally, they touched on traffic safety initiatives aimed at improving road conditions across the city.
Community News
Over the weekend, the Woodstock Terry Fox Run was a huge success, raising $31,000 so far, surpassing last year’s total. The community continues to show its support for cancer research with tremendous participation.
Local Crime Update
Unfortunately, the Woodstock Police responded to shots fired at a home in the city’s north end. Thankfully, no one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
